TURCK now extends its expertise in PROFIBUS technology by extending its team of certified PROFIBUS Engineers. Mr. Robin Lim, Mr. Alex To and Mr. Dominique Chabauty attended the standard course and obtained the certification for PROFIBUS DP Engineer. Mr. To and Chabauty also followed the extended PA module to get extensive knowledge of PROFIBUS PA technology for the field of Process Automation.

With this latest addition, TURCK PROFIBUS’ team of Certified Engineers now covers Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, and is expected to include Indonesia in 2009. Using this expertise, TURCK intends to increase its scope of service to offer added value solutions using PROFIBUS technology.

The Standard Certified PROFIBUS Engineer course is an intensive hands-on and theoretical 4-day training program. The Certified PA module took 2½ days and is fully concentrated on PROFIBUS PA. The attendees received the title ‘Certified Engineer' and were officially registered after passing each respective module exams.

The 'Certified PROFIBUS Engineer' course is a world wide recognized training program. It's standardized by PROFIBUS International to create a quality platform for PROFIBUS qualified persons who are acknowledged by an official exam.
